Let and Collect
We set up the tenancy for you and collect any payments on your behalf.
Let and collect says what it does.
We complete everything that is covered under the Letting Service but there are further service elements added.
These include
- a full check in service at the property,
- we manage the key handover,
- the change-over of utility accounts into the tenant’s name (this doesn’t include media service or telephony)
- set up of a standing order to pay rent into our client rent account.
Collect rent is then paid over into your rent account 7 days after the due rent date. The reason for this is we can contact the tenant if rent is late and collect for your due payment date. The tenant is given the landlord number in order to report maintenance issues and for them to organise repairs. Property inspections are also carried out by the landlord.
