Our comprehensive referencing service ensures reliable tenants.

Tenant Referencing

The Agent shall, for each Tenant, obtain a full reference and a credit search using a tenant reference agency.

This includes,

  • a credit score,
  • Bankruptcy CCJ/Court Decree,
  • Anti-fraud check,
  • Personal Identity check,
  • a report on detrimental credit history,
  • Landlord/Managing Agent reference,
  • Employers reference, previous Employers reference 
  • a tenancy recommendation.
  • If the Tenant is a company then a search shall be carried out on the company and a full bank reference will be taken.

Without a satisfactory reference or written authorisation from the Landlord, no tenant will be permitted a tenancy. The Agent may request that the Landlord waive the Agent’s liability in the event of failure by the Tenant to reach a satisfactory reference standard yet the Landlord Authorises continuation of application to Tenancy.
